WEDDINGS

by The Chuterie

Designer touch WEDDINGS by The Chuterie are turnkey or custom wedding ceremonies, designed to be simple and beautifully styled by Erika M.

Your wedding day does not need to be stressful or defined by complicated moving parts and details. At The Chuterie, the scene is set in advance and installed on-site, so your Moment or Grand Affair holds space for you and your guests.

With everything in place upon arrival, every visual element already set without the need to manage it, all that remains is to cue the music.

  • The Moment
    $6,500

The Moment is designed for intimate weddings. This turnkey micro wedding offers a focused and fully realized setting for up to 18 guests.

Within your chosen location, the ceremony or reception setting is established ahead of your arrival, shaped through the design direction of The Chuterie.

The aisle and overall layout are defined in response to the environment, allowing the setting to feel complete, grounded, and ready for the moment it is meant to hold.

The Moment is intentionally restrained in scale, keeping the focus on the ceremony while maintaining a clear and refined design point of view. Each element is considered in relation to its surroundings, creating a setting that feels elevated without excess.

    Elements included within The Moment:

    • Up to 18 chairs, arranged in alignment with the location and overall layout of the ceremony
    • A defined ceremony focal point, marking where the vows are held, expressed through a styled and structured installation element designed in response to the setting
    • A styled aisle, visually guided through placement, with decorative elements such as candles, vessels, or sculptural accents as determined by the overall design direction
    • Two high cocktail tables with linens, each styled with a floral vase or small centerpiece
    • Light floral accents and styling elements integrated throughout the setting, applied with restraint and in alignment with the overall environment

Color direction and general preferences are considered, while final design decisions remain within the scope of the installation and the designer’s perspective.

Full installation and same-day breakdown within a defined service window and location.

A minimum four-hour access window prior to the ceremony is required for installation. This is separate from the six-hour on-site service window, which begins once setup is complete.

All furnishings and styling elements are provided for up to 6 hours on-site. Additional time may be accommodated with added fees.

A concise pre-event intake defines palette, preferences, and overall vision, translated into a cohesive, design-led installation.

Additional hours, expanded design requests, and add-on elements may be incorporated with written approval no later than 4 weeks prior to the event date.

Please note: All locations must be pre-approved. A pre-approved walkthrough of the location is required upon purchase of this turnkey package to confirm access, layout, and installation feasibility. A virtual walkthrough may be accepted where applicable.

  • THE GRAND AFFAIR
    $11,500

The Grand Affair expands on the intimacy of The Moment with a more developed presence, allowing for a fuller guest experience for up to 40 guests while maintaining a refined and controlled environment.

Within your chosen setting, the ceremony and reception are established ahead of your arrival, shaped through the design direction of The Chuterie. The aisle is defined, and seating is arranged within the overall layout, allowing the setting to transition naturally from ceremony into reception.

The Grand Affair introduces a more expansive layout, where both ceremony and reception are given greater dimension while remaining visually connected. Each element is styled in response to its surroundings, creating a setting that feels complete, elevated, and intentional without excess.

Elements included within The Grand Affair:

    • Up to 40 chairs, arranged in alignment with the location and overall layout of the ceremony
    • A defined ceremony focal point, marking where the vows are held, expressed through a styled and structured installation element designed in response to the setting
    • A styled aisle, visually guided through placement, with decorative elements such as candles, vessels, or sculptural accents as determined by the overall design direction
    • One primary landscape table, styled as a central focal point within the reception
    • Two additional tables, placed to support flow and guest experience
    • Four high cocktail tables, positioned to support movement and interaction, each finished with scaled styling
    • Light floral accents and styling elements integrated throughout the setting, expressed through placement, proportion, and tone

Color direction and general preferences are considered, while final design decisions remain within the scope of the installation and the designer’s perspective.

Ceremony & Setting The Style

Erika M began curating weddings abroad in 2006 while working with Weddings Costa Rica. What started as destination weddings for expats evolved into a focused path within the wedding space.

Nearly two decades later, as Founder of The Chuterie || Maison de Fromage, she brings that foundation into a design-led practice centered on grazing installations and wedding environments, as a natural extension of her work across private celebrations.

With experience executing events and weddings, alongside a background in interior staging and styling, WEDDINGS at The Chuterie focuses on the visual environment rather than event logistics.

Her work centers on shaping the ceremony through setting and styling, developing each wedding as a complete visual direction and installing it on-site.

From intimate gatherings to larger-scale environments, the approach remains consistent: considered, minimal, and cohesive.

She does not operate as a planner or coordinator. Her role is to define, design, and execute the setting itself, allowing the event to unfold within a fully realized environment.

Operating through The Chuterie, her work reflects a design-first approach to weddings, where structure, placement, and material are treated with the same level of attention as the event itself.

All wedding offerings focus on the design and styling of your wedding, with on-site setup and execution. This does not include planning, vendor coordination, or logistical management beyond what is outlined. A minimum 72-hour window is required. Requests made within that timeframe are subject to approval, confirmed logistics and access, and additional expedited fees.

We look forward to designing your wedding as a complete and considered environment.
